Xerox v. 3Com

In this Federal Circuit case reversing summary judgment for defendant Xerox, the court strains to find meaning in the seemingly ambiguous term "sloppiness space." The Court determined that because the term was mentioned passingly in the specification with examples, the patentee had provided sufficient description to make the term definite rather than indefinite.
